Subbituminous Energy Coalition

Mission Statement

SEC shall be dedicated to maintaining subbituminous coal as an environmentally acceptable and competitive fuel source. This shall be accomplished by:

I. Leveraging our collective resources to provide and share environmental information
II. Researching environmental technology developments
III. Providing information on funding options for testing and/or development of environmental technologies

Through these efforts, further development of related technology and economically sustainable environmental solutions shall be realized.

The SEC shall not engage in any lobbying activities on behalf of its Members.
